• After more than 23 years at the helm of Findhorn Press, a Mind-Body-Spirit publishing house in Scotland, Thierry Bogliolo is now focusing on the Camino Guides, TransPersonal Press, and publishing ad hoc titles under the Kaminn Media imprint.
Thierry purchased a dormant and tiny Findhorn Press in July 1994 and developed it into a vibrant publishing house, releasing about 30 new titles a year. He expanded the authors base from Findhorn community members and friends to many pioneers worldwide, focusing on alternative health, personal development and self-help, as well as launching the Camino Guides imprint producing with author John Brierley the bestselling A Pilgrim’s Guide to the Camino de Santiago and other related titles.
Thierry quickly established full distribution into the largest English-language market in the world: the USA and Canada, so that quickly sales in North America overtook and then vastly exceeded sales in the UK. He also worked with wholesalers in Australia, South Africa and New Zealand.
Thierry also focused on international rights sales with a strong presence at the Frankfurt Book Fair and the London International Book Fair: many titles got published in various languages round the world, with one in more than 30 languages.
Finally, Thierry sold Findhorn Press to Vermont-based much larger competitor Inner Traditions • Bear & Co at the end of 2017. They will continue to develop the Findhorn Press imprint and take it to its next steps as part of a much larger publishing house.
